Supplying Tools for Success: Ignite Durham Learning Foundation

The Region of Durham reports that one in four students experience food insecurity, and the Ignite Durham Learning Foundation (IDLF) is determined to address this growing concern.

In 2024, the IDLF has supported students and schools by hosting catered breakfast and lunch events including at Mary Street Community School and Lakewoods Public School, stocked school snack supplies, supplied food directly to families and need, as well as provided clothing and necessities to ensure Durham District School Board students have what they need to succeed.

Thanks to the continued, passionate support of our schools, community, and corporate sponsors, the IDLF’s mission continues into 2025.
