Celebrating Achievement: Student Recognition Night

The 38th annual Student Recognition Night took place on June 11, 2024. Student Recognition Night is a proud Durham District School Board (DDSB) tradition. The event is an opportunity to make space for, honour, and celebrate the stories of up to three students from each high school across the DDSB who have overcome challenges to their personal success and have flourished as part of our schools and community. 

 

Nominated by their school administrators and surrounded by family, DDSB Superintendents, and Trustees, students’ achievements are highlighted through a formal ceremony that includes entertainment and hospitality from DDSB schools. 

 

The 39th annual Student Recognition Night is scheduled for April 29, 2025.
